Conditional tender
Roles in construction projects: analysis and terminology, by Hughes, W. and Murdoch, J. R, published in 2001 by the University of Reading, defines a conditional tender (or qualification) as: ‘A contractual provision proffered by a builder that forms a condition of the tender. If the client does not accept this contractual provision, the builder’s price will not stand.
